Synopsis

A generation after the height of the AIDS crisis, two generations of gay men in New York collide over love, legacy, and what one generation owes the next. Matthew López's epic two-part drama, loosely inspired by E.M. Forster's Howards End, swept awards on both sides of the Atlantic — Best New Play at the Oliviers and four 2020 Tony Awards including Best Play. "Perhaps the most important American play of the century so far" (The Telegraph).
